Guitar Lessons - Stamford, Greenwich, New Canaan.

Guitar Lessons for children and adults.

Our music school provides private guitar lessons for all levels and ages. We teach guitar students from Stamford, Greenwich, New Canaan, Pound Ridge, Bedford, Armonk and the surrounding areas.

Our guitar teachers are highly qualified.  The interaction of student and teacher is critical to mastering a musical instrument, and so each guitar student is carefully matched with the right guitar teacher.

Prior to hiring a guitar teacher we carefully qualify each one taking into consideration his or her guitar teaching philosophy, skill level and ability to interact with students.

Guitar students (or their parents if children) are also asked about their musical interests, desire to play different genres of music and overall goals, thus allowing us to match students to the right guitar teachers.

Creating the right environment is important to ensure success and enjoyment in lessons, allowing younger guitar students to receive the benefits of music education and adult guitar students to maximize enjoyment.
Our guitar studios are spacious and acoustically isolated, allowing private guitar lessons to be conducted in the most efficient way.

Weekly guitar lessons are usually 30, 45 or 60 minutes in length but customizable guitar lesson times are available.
Guitar lessons are taught Monday through Friday from 10:00AM to 8:00PM and Saturday from 10:00AM to 5:00PM.

Pete Cornell For Pete, music has been an integral part of his life for as long as he can remember. His love for music has taken him down many paths including being a performer, composer, and educator. A graduate of New York University’s Music Department, Pete is an accomplished guitarist and composer of electronic and rock music.
Since Graduating NYU in 2007 Pete has gone on to produce many records on his own and with various bands. The success of his band Bend or Break gave him the opportunity to tour the US, and make two records with world class engineer Richie Corsello. After Bend or Break disbanded in 2012 Pete joined up with the Last Call Experience playing covers for private parties, weddings, and various events. Pete has also released many solo albums, most notably under the alias "Pedrodomus."
Besides producing and writing his own music, Pete has a deep passion for teaching and preparing young musicians for a life in the arts. Between his experience teaching his private clients and his role as Show Director at School of Rock, Pete has a wealth of knowledge and skills to share with the younger generation. Whether a young musician is looking to play a few chords or has the goal of becoming a professional, Pete is adept at molding his lessons to each individual student's goals and ability.
Pete is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Studio Composition at SUNY Purchase.

He has shared the stage with The Avett Brothers, Josh Ritter, William Elliot Whitmore, and plenty more.
John spent eight years on the road with indie darlings “Your Best Friend” who played alongside New Found Glory, Bayside, Thursday, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, Chiodos, and more. As a teacher, John makes the lessons fun and informative for his students. His goal is to tailor the lessons around the abilities, needs, and desires for each individual student.
